Wow! That's all we can say in response to the news that The Crossroads has been selected as a Quarterfinalist in the Academy's Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting! That means it's been chosen as one of the top 5% of this year's submitted screenplays--all 7,442 of them.
The Academy has been awarding Nicholl Fellowships to struggling screenwriters for almost 30 years, the past 25 in the current competitive format. The competition is respected around the world as one of the premier events for aspiring writers and has helped launch the careers of many, many professional screenwriters.
